Coronavirus – Where can we spend our holiday during the epidemic?
There are countries where we can enter without a negative coronavirus test and swim in the sea with no problem, but there are some places where we need to stay in quarantine for two weeks before starting our holiday. Where can we go?
Index reported that due to the slowdown of the coronavirus epidemic, many countries in Europe reopened their borders, worked out a strategy for boosting their tourism after almost three months of a break, and await travellers with open arms, but also with new restrictions we need to follow. The easiest choice is Austria, but the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Serbia, and Germany are also available options. If we would like to swim in the sea, Slovenia and Croatia also opened their borders.
To enter these countries, there is no need to have a permission or negative coronavirus test, and when we arrive back in Hungary, the two-week-long quarantine is also not necessary.
The situation is more difficult with other countries. After returning from Poland, Italy, Montenegro, Bulgaria, and Belgium (from June 15) to Hungary, everyone is obligated to stay in two weeks of home quarantine observed by the state. From June 15, Greek authorities could test people on their borders, and if it is positive, subjects will be sent to two weeks of quarantine in Greece. After entering the United Kingdom, two weeks of quarantine is likewise mandatory after travelling back to Hungary.
Spain, France, and Romania are still keeping their borders closed for tourists, but easing travelling restrictions might happen soon in these states. Travelling to popular Middle-East locations like Russia, Israel, Turkey, and Ukraine are still forbidden for an uncertain period.Â
